OVER £2,500 was raised for children's medical charity Sparks at a fishing competition held at Raemoir Trout Fishery.
The fundraising event took place on Saturday, September 27.

Richard Kennedy of Raemoir Trout Fishery raised a further £200 for the charity by shaving off his 7-year-old beard.

The winners of the fishing competition were Andrew Barrowman and Matthew Hines.

Kevin Moss and Marc Moss finished in second place.

Sparks are currently funding research programmes into clubfoot at Aberdeen University and eczema and asthma at Dundee University.
